Get with it and groove to the beat at this year’s Legends of Rock and Pop tribute to the great rock and rollers of the 1950s where it all started with the cranked out sounds of Chuck Berry, Eddy Cochran, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino and many more. Several different performers will do their interpretation of one to three of their favourite Rock and Roll hits of the 50s.

We’d love to hear your interpretation of a Rock and Roll 50s song. Make it your own in any way you like – Solo, band, parody, a serious interpretation or have some fun and a laugh. A chance to travel back to the fabulous 50s. Come dressed for the part for an authentic feel.

The era of the juke box, bobby socks, malt shops, 45s, drive-in theatres, conical bras,
Rock and Roll was born in the 1950s through the meeting of various influences of Rockabilly, blues, western swing and doo-wop.
